Project 16 Overview
2017 Local Love Awards Recap
We are extremely excited to announce that our TITLE SPONSOR for the 2nd annual Local Love Awards is EW Lawyers (1-800-TRUCK-WRECK). This year's award gala will be held this year at the Omni Hotel in Downtown Dallas on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 7pm. This is an annual, formal fundraising event presented by Lady Jade, where 100% of the proceeds are donated to her 501c3 non profit organization, Project 16.
During its first year of inception, Project 16 has impacted hundreds of at-risk youth in our economically deficient areas and attached you will see just a few of the initiatives from 2017. As you will see, Project 16 initiatives are centered around preparing our youth for a successful future through education, exposure, and application. From life skills such as tying a tie, how to be a gentleman and young lady, budgeting, art exposure, self esteem, and more, we go into the overlooked areas to give our kids a fighting chance.. We thank you in advance for your donation, as 100% of your contribution is used to bless the lives of our kids. Lady Jade and her team have a passion to serve our children, and your generosity allows them to do so. There are additional details for the event along with a link to purchase tickets at www.localloveawards.com . Please let us know if you have any questions. We would love to have your support as we sew seeds of success in our children.

"I am one of those people that truly believes in my soul that we can make the world a better place one child at a time. I am not going to sit around and wait for someone else to do it...God has blessed me, so I want to bless them and give our youth a fair shot at a bright, successful future." ~Lady Jade

Self-Esteem and Tying Ties
Project 16 strives to instill self esteem in our young boys and girls, as well as teach life skills such as tying ties and understanding the meaning of success. 98% of the young men we have taught to tie a tie had never been taught before and the tie we gave them was the first tie they had ever owned.
Extreme Prom Makeover
10 highschool seniors, who otherwise would not have been able to attend the prom, were blessed with an extreme prom makeover. Each girl was afforded the opportunity to shop for a brand new dress, shoes, and accessories, and get their hair, makeup, and professional photo shoot done courtesy of Project 16 and some amazing sponsors. Ranging from brain tumors, to mom having stage 4 cancer, to financial troubles, each girl submitted an essay detailing why they felt they deserved the makeover.
